CVS Trip 10/23/13: $46.14 savings

Wow, all I can say is I don’t know why I have been so intimidated to try CVS. This was my second trip, and both times the clerks were not only friendly and helpful, they were *really* excited to help me learn the ropes.

I am glad I jumped in because yesterday I paid .43 plus tax ($2.46) for everything pictured above. Our grocery budget is about to get really tight (more new on that later), so being able to stock up on diapers this inexpensively is a huge blessing.

Here is how I did it (and how you can too!):

First, I checkedĀ  Money Saving Mom and Passionate Penny Pincher’s blogs to scope out the best deals. They have the scenarios laid out for you, and all of my coupons were printed from their sites.

Next, I went to CVS and bought:

(1) Huggies Slip on Diapers- used $2/1 coupon
(1) Huggies Pull Ups- used $2.50/1 coupon
(1) Huggies Little Movers Diapers- used $2/1 coupon
(1) Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo- used $1/1 coupon
(3) boxes of Kleenex- used $1/3 coupon

All of the products I bought were on sale, plus I used 3 coupons that printed at the machine (totaling $5.50) and $20 ECBs from last week’s visit.

I also receieved $10 in extra rewards bucks for buying the diapers and baby shampoo. I’m excited to use that next week for some more great deals.

Questions for you:

Have you ever shopped at CVS?

How much do you end up paying for diapers?

Did you get any good deals this week?
